Privacy

What this site stores about you, what it deliberately does not, and what you can do about either.

The short version

  • No analytics, no trackers, no advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no pixel, nothing watching you read.
  • Your bankroll never leaves your browser. The stake calculator stores the figure you type in your own browser’s local storage and nowhere else. It is not sent to us and we cannot see it.
  • We store an email address only if you give us one, for the single purpose stated beside the form, and every message we ever send includes a working unsubscribe link.

What we store, and why

Email updates. If you subscribe for updates, we store your email address, the time you consented, and the purpose you consented to. We use it for that purpose only — we do not sell it, share it, or add you to anything else. Unsubscribing removes you from sending immediately, and you can ask for the address to be deleted outright.

Accounts, when they exist. If account sign-in is enabled and you create one, we store your email, your plan state, and — if you use the bet log — the bets you choose to record. Authentication uses a session cookie, which is strictly necessary for signing in and is not used to track you. No account is required to read anything on this site.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request logs — IP address, requested page, time — to serve and secure the site. Our database is hosted by Supabase. Both act as processors for us.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies for reading it. If sign-in is enabled and you sign in, a session cookie keeps you signed in — that is a strictly necessary cookie under PECR and needs no consent banner, which is why you have not seen one. If we ever add anything that does need consent, we will ask first.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). For any of these, reply to any email we have sent you. Given how little we store, most requests are answered by deleting a single row.

Status — this notice is operative. It was checked line by line against what the code actually does on 13 August 2026, and it changes in the same commit as any change to what is collected. Terms of use.
