Freeze leg — needs to take the lead
A freeze candidate is any fresh Sky Full Time Result selection at 5.50+ in an AccaFreeze-eligible competition. It is never filtered or ranked by form or the table — it exists because of the promotional mechanic, and the big price is the point.
Freeze Uplift = Sky FT ÷ BoyleSports 1 Goal Ahead − 1: how much higher Sky's normal win price is than Boyle's specialised price for the same team simply going a goal ahead. It is a price relationship, not expected value — Boyle's market settles on "leads by one at any point", its outcomes overlap, and no standard de-vig is valid on it. Where no real Boyle price is available the uplift shows "awaiting" — it is never estimated.
Taking the lead settles nothing by itself: it opens the window for you to freeze the leg manually in Sky's My Bets while your team is ahead. Once frozen, the leg counts as won at your original odds — even if the goal is later overturned by VAR — and the rest of the acca plays on.
